Tom Gravante -
NEC Coach of the Year 2010 & 2011

Head coach Tom Gravante, who has been at the helm of the Mount men's lacrosse program since 1995, is coming off a special season in 2010. Gravante guided the Mount to a school-record in wins and the school's second-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.

This past season, the Mount defeated Siena, 7-6, on a last-second goal to win the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title in the school's final season in the conference. With the win, the Mount advanced to the NCAA Tournament where they lost to No. 1 seed Virginia in the First Round.

The Mount finished the 2010 season with a 12-5 record, breaking the school record for wins in a season. Gravante was named the MAAC's Coach of the Year, the fourth time he has earned the award.

The Mount will join the Northeast Conference for its inaugural season in 2011. The NEC handed out postseason awards in 2010 in advance of the league's first year with Gravante earning the NEC's Coach of the Year award and again in 2011.
